all very intriguing but i think he just likes images that provoke.  he also seems to have several records with similar photographs, as if shot the same day, or a different day in the same location, etc.

How do we know that our Corwood Representative hasn't caught wind of
the jokes about the "picture of Jandek's pilgramage to Mecca" on RDD
and decided, "OK, I'm gonna wear the same hat in a different photo and
put it on the next album... hey, that gives me the idea for the next
album title... and the title track..." ;)
