[Jandek] Jandek and christianity

why is it that everybody assumes that Jandek is a Christian?  Is it because 
of his poetry or is there some other reason?  Being a songwriter myself I 
have in the past made biblical references but that was only because it fit 
in with the imagery of that particular song.  And I'm certainly not a 
christian.

Am I missing some info here?
