Sorry if this is old news, but the talk about which albums to get and/or/avoid reminded me -

http://www.allmusic.com has audio clips of nearly every Jandek tune in the discography section of their entry on the man.  Not super long clips, but enough to give a good indication of what different albums sound like.  I've found it really helpful in trying to navigate the wealth of releases.
