Well, I hadn't received any Jandek digest in weeks.. And suddenly I
realized my e-mail was probably broken (it has been behaving weirdly)
So here I am with a new address..
Good to read about the Toronto show.. Before heading back into lurk
mode, I'll recommend Ingmar Bergman's The Passion of Anna. (Passion,
En in Swedish)
Max von Sydow plays a reclusive man, with red hair.. He reminds me of
Jandek. He suffers from depression, was in prison (I know this is not
true for Jandek, but it's part of the myth) he also wields an axe in a
rural surrounding that resembles Worthless Recluse.
a recommend movie, Bibi Andersson and Liv Ullmann are also there. :)
