Scott Walker's "The Drift" is one of the most whacked (and well 
produced!) recordings I've ever heard.

I'd also recommend Arthur Doyle's "No More Crazy Women" super-limited 
tour CDR that makes me scratch my head (and laugh!) everytime I listen 
to it.
