[Jandek] Sense of Humor

It's hard for me to listen to "No Break" (from Chair Beside a Window)
without laughing. ("You're nuts! You're nuts!") And then there's always
"Comedy" (from Living in a Moon So Blue), where our man deadpans the
immortal opening "Here's looking at you kid / You got the German Measles."
I was also always highly amused by the fact that he cut "European Jewel" in
the middle on the first album, and then picked it up -- in almost exactly
the same spot where he left off -- three albums later. If that's not
someone who knows how to have fun, I don't know what is.

>Could 'Om' count? I've always thought it was a bit tongue-in-cheek.
