[Jandek] Khartoum

 New Jandek just arrived at our radio station, and God is it a bad mother.
It's called Khartoum, a word I haven't yet Googled but suspect means
something in another language. Possibly the language of the country Jan
was visiting in the photo--a continuation on the RDD Mecca-looking pic,
'cept in this one Jandek looks like a corpse or a wax figure. Damn eerie.
Musically, it's another guitar/voice album. Lyrics are INTENSE to say the
least. "I Shot Myself" is almost as freaky as some of the Newcastle stuff
from May.
