I know that I'm going to be in the minority here, but isn't it a little 
deflating to have the man come out and finally play a show? Someone who so 
purposefully shrouded his art in anonymity to finally throw it aside and 
start playing shows, it just blows me away. 

Imagine if Thomas Pynchon started giving interviews and appearing on the 
Today Show. Someone who has such an aura of genius and mystery about them 
suddenly becomes just another shmo on the television.

Personally, I'm disappointed in him for doing this. But at the same time, if 
he comes to Detroit, I'm fucking there.
