I did pretty much the same thing. I wanted to add when the Telephone Melts
but thought it was too long for a mix CD. Upon the Grandeur gets a pass on
that point for being pretty and I'll Sit Alone and Think a Lot about You
for sounding to me to be the natural companion to I Passed by the Building.
Also the selections are biased against the past 8 years. It's designed to
start as gently as possible and then go to darker songs. Like a musical
black hole slowly pulling unwitting listeners, who were really enjoying the
ride at first, past the event horizon and down into inescapable
fascination/mailing list subscription.

1 The Cat That Walked from Shelbyville
2 Babe I Love You
3 Alehouse Blues
4 License to Kill
5 What Do You Want to Sing?
6 Nancy Sings
7 Put It Away
8 European Jewel (incomplete)
9 I Passed by the Building
10 I'll Sit Alone and Think a Lot about You
11 Down in a Mirror
12 Delinquent Words
13 I'm Ready
14 Upon the Grandeur
15 This Is a Death Dream
16 Didn't Really Die
