married ten years, dated for 6 before that, and have not agreed on something to listen to since Jane's Addiction broke up (the first time)... she goes for Madonna, Eminem, Coldplay and only very occasionaly dips back for some old Nick Cave or Bunnymen (so I guess there are fleeting points of agreement), while I obsess over Jandek, Magma, Tatsuya Yoshida and Lars Hollmer... it's never even been an issue...
