[Jandek] Skirting The Edge lyrics

I was looking at the lyrics for this album the other day.  In "The Side Of
The Road," right after the "call cannot be ignored" line, there seems to be
some difficulty in deciphering what, exactly, it is that our man is going to
walk into.  Well, I think I've got it.  I've been listening to this album a
lot lately and I think I've figured it out.

"I'll walk into THE NEW DAY."

Go back and listen to it.  I swear, I can hear THE NEW DAY clear as can be.
