There's a La Monte Young LP (I think it was one of his) on the french
Shandar label where each side was 40+ minutes long. And there's a number of
Stochausen lp's on DG where each side comes very close to 30 minutes. You
just need somebody spectacular to do the mastering (The people at RTI
probably would do the best job). As far as mass market produced vinyl there
was always Todd Rundgrens mid 70's Initiation LP which was 70+ minutes long
