Hi, boys and girls,

 

I've recently wrote to Jandek asking him if he would be interested in an Australian performance. Well, I've got here in my hot little hands, a missive from Corwood Industries saying that they would interested in sending a representative over to Australia for a performance. Now, all Aussie Jandek fans, let's mobilise! How do we go about getting Jandek to Australia and making this gig happen?! Street cred for life beckons, lol:)

I would guess you would need to get something together to justify the
cost and time of his flight, so possibly more than one gig, and with a
good selection of right-minded people to play with. Worth a try though.

I've never had a problem IMOs and I've used them for years, being a credit card fearing person. I live in Tasmania so it's a good option I think.

I've ordered from that Commonwealth ex-convict colony called Australia using an International Money Order and had no problem whatsoever. You have International Money Orders in the Queens England, yes? You might have to pay a little fee, but at least you get your Jandek product.

IMOs are difficult to get hold of, and on more than one occasion I've

had to explain to Post Office staff what they are. It might be easier to

get a bank cheque in dollars.
