I noticed the bird too.  I wrote to  Corwood about it a while back.  I
received the following response:

"We seem to recall a bird.  Not conclusive, though."

Definitely sounds like a bird to me.  Weather or not it is a pet bird or a
bird outside is a whole other matter.
