i'm guessing yr being facetious but i did wonder if the question was, "why is this message board dominated by dudes?" or "where can i find a foxy female that digs jandek?" 

particularly because the original post said, "likes or UNDERSTANDS jandek." it sounded a little patronizing, although i don't think that was the intention; i.e., "why don't chicks get jandek?" 

i know quite a few people of whatever gender that dig jandek but i don't think i know anyone (this list included) that UNDERSTANDS jandek, which is part of the fun.
