I bet that there have been plenty of times over the years that it has
been hard financially and motivationally to keep up the task of
issuing recordings into the void.

I too get some feeling of a brush with mortality from the subject of
this list.  I hope Jandek has a feeling of justification.  If I had
the chance to say one thing to him it wouldn't be to ask for an
explanation of anything, it would be to simply thank him for keeping
going.
