I think alot of Jandek fans were readers of the legendary fanzine FORCED
EXPOSURE, which prided itself on the weird, psychadelic and inspired
American underground music scene well before it got co-opted into the
post-modern-college-rock-Villgae-Voice pretentious twat set.

It's kinda hard to be a real eccentric these days, since everything is
available, and 'weirdness' has pretty good market value.
