Richard Youngs and Alex Neilson played with Jandek at the first public
appearance at Instal in The North.  They are hardcore noodlers from
Leeds, which has a really great scene for whatever the hell you call
that whole Leeds / New Zealand thing.

In my opinion, they put out the best record of last year, "Road is
Open Life."  A simply amazing record.  Maybe my favorite of the decade
so far.
