thanks.  i'll check it out.  when i was in highschool, i was in a band called thee impasse and we had a track called "khartoum."  we were quite the geopolitically concerned stoney pontificators.

I discovered this song, called "In Khartoum," the other day by a  
group called "Men's Recovery Project."  Not that it is particularly  
Jandek-esque, but there is something rather eerie about it, like the  
new album cover.  Anyway, it is worth a listen.  I guess you need to  
decide if it is worth 99 cents from the iTunes music store or not.   
perhaps you can find it elsewhere.  it is on an album called "Bolides  
Over Basra."  anyway, enjoy if you do.
