[Jandek] slide guitar

It has been mentioned somewhere on another post here about jandek supposedley playin a bit of "slide" guitar on his latest cd "the end of it all". I got this cd the other day and yes! i can hear janky playing his guitar with a bottleneck! i also reckon this is how jandek achieves the "fretless" bass sound on "shadow" and "gone wait" if you play a bass with a bottleneck you get the same sound as the one on those cds.of course i could be wrong though!
