[Jandek] Jandek- Bi-polar?

I was just thinking today, perhaps Jandek is or was at
one time manic depressive. That could easily explain
his prolific body of work; it could have been done
during his manic periods---and the lyrics written
during the depressive ones? Something like that. Then
maybe he got help for it and went through a period in
which he didn't feel the need to record anymore---and
then eventually he came back, and his voice was
deeper! Just a thought.
