This is set to be an extraordinary Jandek performance at the historic Gerrard Hall at UNC.  Local musician Anne Gomez, will be joined by John Darnielle of Mountain Goats fame (his first public performance on keys since age 9) and ex-Agents of Good Roots drummer and free jazz artist Brian Jones on Richmond, VA (who also performed at the Jandek Richmond performance).

Good news for anyone who likes The Mountain Goats:
 
"According to the Chapel Hill concert’s organizers, Richmond’s Brian  
Jones—co-founder of funk-pop band Agents of Good Roots—will back  
Jandek on drums for the second time. John Darnielle of Durham’s The  
Mountain Goats will accompany Jandek on keyboards, and Anne Gomez of  
Durham’s Cantwell, Gomez & Jordan will join the band on bass. Jandek  
will play electric guitar. This marks Darnielle’s first public  
appearance on keyboards since age 9."
