will oldham covered a Lynyrd Skynyrd song "Every mothers son". i dont know
if it sounds different.
on another note. i was reading the Irwin Chusid (spelling?) article about
jandek. he said in the article he wroote a song about his mate Max (so fly
max) and mentioned his sisters. Im not sure if this bloke was making it up
(and he seems to take glee in takin the piss or tellin everyone how weird
Jandek apprantly is) but it does, if true, mean he recorded the songs around
the time they came out. so he would have been in his 30's when he recorded
some of the LP's if he was born in 1945 like it says on the copyright page.
