[Jandek] Jandek Neophyte-wants to know what album to get next.

I've written to Corwood twice now, the first to get a
catalog and the second to place an order. I never
addressed the letter to anyone, just started it with a
'Hello'. Both times my questions avoided anything
personal and if there was going to be a gig in my
town.

The first letter had a question about the CDs in stock
with the reply "0784 new, all available". The second
letter asked if there were going to be more live
recordings released with the reply of "more live
recordings yes".

Definitely get a box of 20 or more as it will save you
money in the long run. I had bought 'Newcastle Sunday'
at the record shop and then ordered the remaining 45
albums from Corwood.

As what to get, I'd suggest at least something from
each "era". A live disc, one of the bass albums,
perhaps a spoken word discs, one from the second
acoustic period and the rest from the electric period.
Some of my favorites that haven't been mentioned so
far include 'The Rocks Crumble', 'Interstellar
Discussion', 'The Gone Wait', 'The Beginning', 'Lost
Cause', 'Foreign Keys' and 'Modern Dances'.

I hope that helps and good luck.
