To the topic at hand: it's true. e-Mole News Group has learned and 
confirmed that the reclusive Texan Troubadour (with apologies to 
Scotty Campbell) plays TORONTO - FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER! - on 
Sunday Sept. 17th. 

Details? Well, you could talk to Gary Topp, the promoter who's 
putting this shindig on. He can be reached at: topps at sympatico.ca 
He can tell you things like where it is going to be staged. I can 
tell you this much: it WON't be at some trendy Queen or Bloor Street 
Boozery and it WON'T be at the Music gallery...Gary can also tell 
you how much tickets are going to cost you for this ONCE IN A 
LIFETIME EXPERIENCE...(i'm guessing 27$ plus S.C.'s) Topp is best 
known for promoting the Police Picnics in the 1980's and Sun Ra 
Arkestra concerts more recently. The show will take place between 7 
p.m. and 9 p.m., because - I am told - "that's the best time".

About the artist: you could try this site: http://tisue.net/jandek/ 
its not the official site (there IS no official site), but it has 
all the info you need about the 46 or so releases put out on the 
Corwood Industries label over the past 28 years from 1978's Ready 
For the House (originally released under the name The Units) right 
up to the 2006 release, What Else Does The Time Mean?
You could also try the site for the 2004 film/DVD documentary,
